ok so i looking for a really nice general perpose vocal mic to be my main one in my studio, iv searched the forums and so far haven't come up with many firm opinions on this price range for a great vocal mic except the soundelux U195, i have also looked at the neumann U87 and brauner phantom C and valet.
Iknow It depends on my voice but i wont be recording myself so best all round, i want a warm sound, my bands singer has a kinda high male voice so i would like it to work well on that, I also have just ordered an AKG C414B XLII so how much of an improvment would i get with a new vocal mic over the c414?
