If you wanna pop filter and don't want to spend much, just stretch a cheap nylon panty hose over a plastic ring and jury rig it to you mic stand.

I actually use the crotch of the panty hose. The little poon breather panel can really quell the Bs and Ps. I just give it a couple squirts of febreeze every couple weeks since the orginal scent wore off. It was inspiring for a while, tho.

I got a fender "made in indonisia" strat for $83 at target, which is much better than the 20% coupon would get you at guitar center. This is a rare one. The decal has a typo. It says "Ferden Startocatser" over top of where it says "Crafted in Sumatra". Guaranteed to skyrocket in value. The only problem with it is the tape is coming off the side of the body and you can see the layers of cardboard. Five cents worth of electrical tape and I'm Ecir Clatpon again.

Target rawks!

Did you see the $99 "Epoch" by Gibson electric while you were there. My wife saw a picture of it in an ad and keeps threatening to buy it. Actually in the picture it doesn't look too bad. Kind of like a Les Paul Jr. with two humbuckers.

Are the bodies of those Gibson "Epoch" guitars made of domestic Chinese sawdust or imported sawdust? Which makes it more collectible? ;)

I prefer the staple-on necks of the Epochs to the peel and stick Ferdens.

^^^^^^^

what band is that video of? That guy is AWESOME!!!

I picked up a new Shure SM7B for $300. Lower than anything I found on the web. I'm happy.

I was workin...but im broke anyways so what the hell. I dont think ive ever paid full price for anything at GC anyways, but it sure looked like a good opportunity to do what i love....blow some money on gear.

i saw those Target guits and kbds, i knew they wouldn't sell, all the TGT stores had them and they wasted a whole entire row of shelf space and now they are on clearance but still too expenseive and they're boxed up and the display ones are screwed into the wall with plastic panel over them. NO ONE buys guitars like that.

Someone was misinformed when they made that decision...and look at all the competition and for $29 more you can get a Squire and try it out, even the acoustics were a bad move, same thing for almost same price at any real music store, or even those family music stores that give lessons to survive...etc....

Shame on Gibson for even letting their name be tied in with sawdust guitars.

I was looking on wikipedia for something and ended up on "guitar" and I think it was on "guitar moves". There is a whole list of "duckwalk" and whatnot. This gif was on there and I thought it was the crazyest thing I ever saw. especially with an LP. You thought num-chucks were bad. If you miscalculated that little hula hopp maneuver, you could get your bell rung for real.

I have no idea who it is, but that is one crazy show. the bass player jumps off his amp, and people are running across the stage. Nuts. I bet the band sucks though.
