Here is a pic of the matching 1967 Ludwig snare drums I just purchased. They are both 10X14 and they are both timecapsule mint. Enjoy!

Those are Chinese copies. If you send them to me I will make sure they are sent to the FBI to find the culprits.

Justice WILL BE SERVED!!!!

Yes, Send one to ez_willis and the other one to me. I'll get MI6 on the case and together we will stop this monstrocity.

I look forward to reciving my new vintage ludwig drum...*cough*...um...i mean...the chinese copy of it......;)

I'm not drummer, but those things look huge for snares! What does the size do to the sound? Does it sound lower? Slower transients?

yeah they are military snare drums. I have about 20 of them right now.

I used to have a 7"x14" Leedy that looked almost exactly like those. It was a single ply Maple shell, almost 1/2" thick. It was from the 30's or 40's I guess, but it sounded pretty good, but the strainer sucked royally...so I gave it to one of my friends for Christmas. He left it in his car one day, and the heat (we're in Florida) caused the shell to crack!

I liked the Wooden 10"x14"'s, but man do I hate the metal ones. I had a chromed/steel Olympic 10"x14".
