1940's esque band, Treacles.

We use a lot of nice instruments that you might enjoy - Optigan, Mellotron, Clarinet, Field Organ etc.

I really liked this track, it sounded very authentic. I thought i was perhaps a little too long though?
 
Ok so i went to listen to "Tuck in or fuck off" which as brilliant a title as it is a song, really enjoyed it and is something i would go out and buy.

Thanks for listening. It is quite long - something we thought a lot about. We felt that if it was too edited it would take away from the authentic live jazz band sound. That's the main thing we wanted on this recording. It is long, but there's always something happening, so I think it's quite acceptable.

We will soon have an EP available at a very reasonable price, so if you want it, let me know.

Nice and chilly tunes. It reminds me more of triphop than of 1940s jazz, however. I liked the length of the first one, I think the second one is too short! :D
