I like the song and it sounds like you write good music, but I would start out by trying to pan the guitar off to the left maybe at least about 75 to 80 percent, maybe more and then mix to make the lyrics to where they don't stand out so much. At least not so much that they stand out so far in front of the guitar that they seem to be the only thing that is paid attention too. You might even try to double the guitar rythmns and pan hard left and right. I think if this were mine ( and this is just an opinion) I would have the main rythmn playing exactly what you are playing panned left, and then have some lead just fill in here and there, panned to the right. After that then it is just messing around with the EQ until there is a good amount of space for all of the song to fit in. Good song though!
