16 Bit vs 24 Bit

Hello,
I think that I have decided to purchace N-track and had a couple of questions.

1.)I have an Audigy 2 EX soundcard that they claim is 24 bit. I was thinking that I would try the 16 bit version first and if that is not good enough I will upgrade. Will the 16 bit version work with a 24 bit sound card?

2.)Does the program allow you to program animation into the level faders for the final mixdown? I will have to do all recording and mixing entirely on the computer.

I can't help with the soundcard but as far as automation of the fader movements ..... yes n-Track supports it.

1. If your soundcard is capable of 24-bit N will detect it; you MUST buy the 24-bit license.
