Ok, I already posted this in the midi section, but on second thought I considered that no one might see it there! So I'm sorry for double-posting, and flame away at me if you must... :p

I'm pretty sure this is the right forum for this...
I have a track that wasn't recorded with a metronome/click so it doesn't have consistent time. I want to create a midi file that will run in sync with it. I don't know if there's another solution I could try, but I'm wondering if there's a...
Just throwing in another vote for the "Vaio is shit" camp. I've had several reliability problems with one. Thank goodness I happened to get it for free, I didn't feel bad about dropkicking it.
Just a little more Beatles info....the Rickenbacker bass was first used on the Revolver album, and made apperances on lots of stuff thereafter, along with the old Hofner and a jazz bass. You can never be sure exactly what was used on which songs, but photos can be very helpful.
nicely arranged/sequenced, the swirly flute bits in the 'verse' were very interesting; I'd like to hear a melodic voice in the song, not necessarily literally singing, but maybe an instrument playing a counter-melody type thing
not mix related, but I think it would sound cool with an acoustic doubling the electric quietly, not so much for a doubling as the timbre, then you could darken the electric a little
just a probably meaningless random thought!
jimi, great vocals! I mostly agree with Ghost, I'd especially like the snare to have more punch, though this may go back to tracking more than what you can do in the mix
that's a small quibble though, it sounds good
I'm just looking for an adaptor with an 1/8" male plug on one end, and two 1/4" female jacks that have seperate left/right signals on the other end. I have one, but it sends a summed mono signal to both 1/4" jacks. I'm assuming Radio Shack only has the one like I have, does anyone know where to...
Dammit! Instant karma I guess....literally second after I posted the last message, I went back to Cubase, switched an effect over to another one, pulled up the mixer, hit play and no sound! Wahhhhhhhh! Now I'm back where I started.
Hi, I'm new to Cubase, I'm running the 1.06 update, and I'm using it with an M-Audio Quattro. You'll be able to tell I'm new to the program by my question-when I load a project I play it and sound comes through fine on the 2 tracks I've recorded, but when I stop it and then play it again I can't...
My Tascam 414 will not power up. Truth be told, I've used the power adaptor to power a 10 volt keyboard. I opened up the 414 and my mediocre technical skills didn't see anything that seemed burned out. Could the adaptor have 'changed voltages' with the keyboard and fried the 414? I know nothing!
I'm going nutso looking at all the different sound cards available. It looks like the 2 most common types of cards are the 2 in usb and the 8 in firewire or pcmcia. What I'm looking for is something with 4 tracks, but not usb as I've heard the horror stories. Does this exist right now? With or...
Dolemite, I figured that's what it would be, but I've heard the left, right, and center and it sounds pretty good, if he used that technique it must've taken awhile. Do you have any more indepth info/links about something like this?
