I'm really into orchestration, I have some samples of my originals production here. The tune "She" is my favorite. Tell me what you think. I know I need a little more work on quantizing, but hey that's how you learn. Ya'll check it out. I am open for some critism(SP?)

Sounds aren't bad for an old synth.
I'm using a KORG X-3 Keyboard/Workstation and a FOSTEX MR-8.
I have CakeWalk Software that I will use to expand and clean up.
I will also be adding tunes with vocal work in the future.

Here is my main website:

hey love the tune dude.

i thought the piano solo intro was brilliant

the other synth sounds were awesome too. i like the string section at about 0:30

the only thing i can say was bad was the drums. i don't like that 80s style electronic drumming through and i thought it didn't suit the song at all.

good effort.

Yea, I hope the drum sounds will be better on the cakewalk software.

Nice composition!:)

I did sound a bit on the midi side to my ears but, I am an old deaf analog guy so, what do I know?

Some deep, sub-harmonic bass patches would help modernize this piece immensely and a better kit sample would bring this tune right into the roaring 21st century.

A nice Michael Bolton style vocal wouldn't hurt either.

Cheers! :)

nicely arranged/sequenced, the swirly flute bits in the 'verse' were very interesting; I'd like to hear a melodic voice in the song, not necessarily literally singing, but maybe an instrument playing a counter-melody type thing

that synth has a good engine in it. I like the sounds. I listened to the pieces you had posted. They all sound like your getting pretty familiar with the Fostex. I did notice that you rely heavily in the thick pads and strings for canvas to paint on. I think if you used a bit more counterrythym. Maybe with some analog sounding pianos or guitar along with the sustaining pad and string tones you`d get a bit more structure under you and offset the canned drums more. And, you wouldnt have to work as hard to bring your message in the melody.

I wish I wuz a keyboard player, and this good.....

Checked out "She"...wow - 1985. :)

I only have a couple of comments being a old Korg guy myself.

The actual piano sound is great and the intro solo you played was fantastic.

I can't help the next comment - the synth sounds are brutal. The brass on the Korg is unlistenable IMO...but I'm a keyboard guy - I can't help it. :D

Love to hear some music once you get somthing new.
