i broke down and bought one of these units yesterday (for mobility reasons)and got around today to hooking it up. So i got the software up and running without a hitch. I plugged a mic into the xlr's...works beautifully! Plug my guitar into the 1/4 inch's...and i get this mad hum that wont go...

Well since my singer got shipped to iraq this month...my band is going on a long awaited break. Which now leaves me with all my recording gear to be boxed up or stuffed in my tiny bedroom...I prefer to box it up ..and switch to something smaller ...more practical for when im in a creative mood...
