All the specs say that the Audiophile 2496 does 24 bits... How? More specifically, how do I set it to do 24bit S/PDIF? (is there such a thing?) I can't find that info in the settings or manual.

Is there any problem having a dynamic mic (SM57) plugged into an input with phantom power (48v) enabled? On my mixer I get phantom power on all or none. Any problems with other dynamic mics?
