a 103 won't impress anyone walking through the door except for stupid people that heard a roomer dat noyman iz da zhit. The 103 is an ok mic on many sources but it's not a great mic, if you have a few good mics available you'll find yourself using it less and less on anything critical instead...

Or maybe it's cuz they never tried the AKG. Like I said I've never used the AKG but the C1 is a spitty little harsh nasty thing that pretty much sucks on most stuff. I will concede this about the C1 - it sounded usable on a Martin D28 once.

I can a good bottle of scotch (maybe 2) for 200 bucks. Go to the store and try out mics within your budget

Dude that wasn't your original question, You asked about a Bottle versus a Baby bottle. NOW you're talking about a Baby Bottle versus a C1. SO NOW the c1 versus the baby - the c1 sucks in comparison on most sources and yes I own a couple of bottles, a couple of baby bottles and a c1.

not even - the bottle smokes the baby. one bad point about the bottle is the size. it's a pain to get into tight places like a snare
