I think its time to buy a new mic stand :) I just got a new shure ksm27 condenser mic(which I'm in love with) and because of my flimsy boom stand its fallen 3 times already into walls, my bass, floor. hehe its well made, I can say that.. not a scratch on it(yet)

well I'd kill for the drum sound of the deftones :o if your familiar with that but I think any decent drum sound will do, I'm a newb still so it will take a bunch of trial and error to figure out what I'm really lookin for I guess.. plus I'm not a drummer :)

yea, these are new tunes that aren't on the cd we're doing some pre-prod on the songs for recording in fall everyones comments rock! I appreciate it, I'm going to open up the songs this weekend and work out all these tips. I guess I should really get a pair of monitor speakers.
