Ok so I decided to reinstall Sonar..I have the 2.1 retail version. I was having severe dropout problems and tought reinstalling could help. So I uninstall 2.2 and reinstall 2.1. Now the program is not recognizing ASIO drivers, I also can't select the Audiophile inputs...it says they are not...

Does anyone find it very hard to do editing in Sonar? When I go to edit audio within Sonar, I find it hard to make small changes, all of the changes have to be large. Is there a way in sonar to make editing audio easier.?

I love reason as well. I rewire it into sonar as well. It is a cool program.

Thanks, yes the last note does seem to have some cliping stuff in it. No it is not sonic foundry, well other then some Sound Forge. I inputed all of those sounds in and panned them in Reason. I used Sound Forge to create the keyboard loop. Then imported it all into Sonar for mixing and recording...

I kind of think the drums panning sounds cool. I like things that are different. I really like the drums...the vocals need more beef. Bass sounds a little muddy sometimes. All in all I like the mix.

yes I invented that. I just farted into a radioshack mic and added some delay and reverb. Then preset it as an EQ setting. :) hehehe Sorry about my crappy typing. The batteries in the keyboard were going dead.

nah it is Intro to AUdio Rec Techniques. Yes I do know how to pan. When recording I was rushed and accidentaly routed the wrong mic to the wrong channel. It has already been recorded to the CD...so now I have to fix it with my own stuff now. :( Hopefully someone can help me

hey once again I appologize for making a post that pises people off. I was mainly just looking for the differences between the two...not really a competition. i guess it is just personal prefrence and software capabilities that make them differ?
