Don't know what it will sell for, but it is starting @ 2500...

I don't know about that (the Brauner VM-1 KHE that is) it is an incredible mic, but I think the Sony C 800 G is just as good, not better but as good...
Although both of them cost so damn much I don't think I will have either for A LONG time!
If I had a choice between a 4033 or 4050, I would buy the 50. It is more open and has a really nice sound... It is also a little more money, but if you can grab one for $299 in good shape, that is as much as a new 33, so I say go for it!
A suggestion about "all around vocal mics"... They don't really exist, not even a U87 sounds great on everyone. There are a few mics that you can stick in front of anyone and will do such a good job you won't need to change but those mics cost a ton...
For example the Sony C 800 G, for $7000...
G-man...
Just letting you know that it is Jay Turser not Turner, and their guitars are crap! I HAVE played every style of guitar they make at a local dealer, and I wouldn't give 'em five bucks for one.
And don't say it was just a spelling error you did it twice and s and n are on opposite...
As for TheGuitarMan, I know you probably have a closet of Collings and Taylors and 1930 Martins and such, but not everyone is as lucky as you, and everyone knows that Epiphones are crap, I mean Wilco uses them, and they suck. Right?!?!?!
Just lay off...
By the way are you Les Paul, or maybe...
I know everyone gets a kick out of the fact that Samick makes more guitars than any other company in the world, but doesn't that just say that they have ZERO quality control...
And I would rather have my guitar say Epiphone than Spamick any day...
At least Epiphones are licensed copies, Samick...
I won't buy gear from GC, Mars, Sam Ash or MF... they all have crappy customer service. If I'm going to do mail order I'll buy from Sweetwater...
Other than that I'll go to MacMidiMusic.com or Pro Audio Design.
Say you have $3,000 for a mixer and all you ever need is 8 channels of mic/line input. What would you buy and why. I have already looked at the TL Audio M3, all Tube mixer ($2,999)... I never plan on expanding past my MOTU 828, all I need are the 8 inputs.
Thanks.
Anyone have a Firestation, I don't live close enough to a dealer to go and just check one out without actually buying it, so if anyone can help me out, thanks a lot.
Oh and I am going to Dallas tonight, so I may go to Guitar Center, but it's a business trip so I most likely won't have the time.
B.SABBATH, I wasn't coming down on alternate tunings, just gay bashing... I also use a lot of alternate tunings (I'm highly influenced by Robert Fripp)... lets just keep things intelligent.
Hey B.SABBATH, you must have a really small d!ck if you feel the need to gay bash everything.
If someone wants to use standard E, but are obviously a fag for doing so, then I guess Clapton, Beck, Stevie, Jimi and a whole bunch of others are gay... that's too bad
BACK OFF BUCK, we do have nice guitars in Kansas (just kidding)...
I am looking at buying a new guitar pretty soon, I can't quite decide on
ES-135 (they discontinued the model so I really don't want to wait and buy one on Ebay next year for 1200 instead of 900)
Brian Moore i2P single cut

I agree that 7 strings are useless (although Vai does use them), but don't knock dropped D, Tool uses it in ALL of there songs, and there rythm is not Sh!t...
I like the Shure kit (although I will eventually replace the 57's as overheads for something else). I haven't used anything else... but it sounds great to me.
