I recorded a vocal track (mono) into FL Studio. Problem is that it only plays in the left speaker. When I record in Adobe Audition it centers the vocal and plays through both speakers. How do I make the mono track centered, because panning it doesn't work. Thank you

Im trying to achieve a sound on my vocals that emulates talking on the phone, another one to emulate talking over a bullhorn, and another one emulating talking over the telephone. What EQ settings, other plugins, etc. can I use to do this besides the preset Telephone effect in Cool Edit??
