    Need more Time

If I heard this on the way in, I would look for a chair. My knees be failing. Full marks - as they used to say.

Manslick - There was a dude

Hey Papanate I do appreciate the sweet critique. Vocals. is my bad. I, as a delicate artiste must be dynamic you see. So I leave it up to the mastering to make it audible. LOL - will address. Dry vox it is then. Guitar - thanks. Me feigning the greats. Cymbals as a sound do lack emotion...

    Far Away - remastered

Hell yea. Sounds better than some on the radio. My nit : the snare should be louder during the verse.

Tjarko is something else isn't he. Sounds wonderful dobro. Push that vox fader up. Steve Hutter. Nice. Bass + drums perfect.

    Post-rock/instrumental track

Sounds good. Bass has a nice tone. Drums sounds great. What kind of polish are you wanting? Guitar sounds right. Played well. Note: When you attach an mp3 look for the inline option and your song will be added to the post at the point where the cursor is positioned. It saves a click for us...

    Falling -

Groovy. Another solid production Kev. The vocal delivery at 1:28 sounds a bit rushed, unsure; like you're not 100% positive of either the words or the melody. I do this myself sometimes in the early stages of a production. It doesn't sound like you're in a closet. Did you add some verb? Really...

My 13 yo daughter wrote an original tune “Reaching for the Moon” - check it out yo

This is excellent. Sounds very modern. The vox get a little bit buried during the busy part of the song. The song as a composition has a vintage effect of like nostalgia. Not something I'd expect a 13yo to dream up. I'd expect someone like a young Judy Garland to sing this. Very well done.

    Black Bird -major overhaul-

This is so well done. Everything sounds great. The drums are outstanding. Sweet guitar riff.

Pixie the Brave: the epic saga of when our cat chased away a fox from our front porch (instrumental & doorbell cam photo included!)

Sounds excellent. Nice use of the mysterious chord changes. It has a bit of a Spanish dancer feel. Maybe throw in a pinch of this finger clacker things. Sweet ending too.

Thanks dobro. I got my speaker going. I took a lot of the keyboard notes out. I think that makes some space for the vocal.

Thanks DM60. I’ve only heard this one through headphones and I’m not really happy with the levels. Getting burned out on it actually.

I've gotten to a point where I need to contemplate the next move. I migrated to a new PC. I've not gotten it quite worked in yet. I need a new interface and a monitor switching gizmo. Thanks dobro - appreciate the encouragement.

Hi TripleM. Thanks for pointing to the keyboard part. Are you referring to the piano or the organ? Yes cymbals are some kind of a synth creation, or a 808 whatever that is. Thanks for the feedback.

Manslick - There was a dude

Hi RD Smith. Vocals up a bit. Hmm are you listening to a mono mix? I ask because I exported this track to my Tascam DP-24SD. It was in mono on my first listen and yes the vocal was hard to hear, but better after adjusting the panning to stereo. Vocals hard to hear - well yes if they need to...

Not the title I would prefer but beggars have to accept etc. Another work in progress. This one may take years to complete. And so to not waste years on a bad mix, I offer this preview to all of you for mix comments. First - is the vocal too loud? Vocal - are they understandable? Second - does...
