Life is so weird sometimes. I put together a vocal years ago and sent it to my buddy Tjarko and he made it into a song. Years later, he decides to redo it. So I re-wrote most of the lyrics and re-did the vocal. It's better now. Whatcha think?

Tjarko Busink: bass, guitars, bvs

Geert-Jan Westland: drums

Steve Hutter: sax

dobro , I Really liked the smooth but punchy vibe of this. I especially liked the sultry sax and lead guitar break. Excellant vocals!
I do think the lead vox could come up a bit , and be a little wetter. Great job .. enjoyed it .. mark

Great Tune - good Separation between everything except the vocals -Vocals are buried by the Guitars and Bass - they need some boost in the Mid Treble Range and brought up in the mix - @mark skinner said a bit wetter - but I think you should wait until they loud enough and see what that does.

Yea, vocals could push more. Not just louder, but a bit more punch.

Tjarko is something else isn't he.
Sounds wonderful dobro.
Push that vox fader up.
Steve Hutter. Nice.
Bass + drums perfect.

wtf... this is amazing. Good job.
I agree, vox should be up a couple db.
Try adding fx to the rhodes, I'm thinking a bit of delay.
What's on your master bus?

This sounds really good all around.

Vocal is very clear and pleasant sounding. It might just be a bit too far back in the mix. Just a small bit.

Sax and guitars sound great. Bass might just a bit boomy. Again just a bit.

Drums sound great.

Say hi to Tjarko and Lt. for me.

Nice song, enjoyed the listen.

Mix wise, maybe a bit more tweaking on the reverb would help it out and get the vocal to sit better as I also think it's a tad dry.

Great performances from you all (y).
