I'm looking into getting a pedal power supply for my pedal board. Right now I am using 9 pedals that require power and a passive volume pedal. I am also using george l's cables on the board and in the fx loop on the amp. I am noticing that I have several NOISY ASS pedals. When I say noisy I...

Hey, I'm just getting into playing keys and am quickly falling in love with it. Right now I'm interested in setting up a keyboard rig so that I can play without the aid of my computer. I'm look for a synth module and a good weighted key keyboard controller. I'm also looking to spend around...
Hey guys! I've got me this little problem here that's causing me to go insane. I'm using Cubase SX2 to do tracking, and usually use 3 VSTis when writing a song. I have this one VSTi called the drum kit from hell by native instruments. Well the way it works is that it simulates mics on a drum...
A few Questions... First can an analog mixer have ADAT i/os? And Secondly if that analog mixer has ADAT i/o, does that mean that your computer can record multiple tracks to the sequencing program at once? If so whats a decent analog mixer I can find with ADAT i/os?

Okay lemme see if I got this straight. Now the point of having a soundcard with multiple in's out's is so that you can mix down to outboard gear. Right? Now if you chose to do all you mixing/mastering ONNNNN the computer wouldn't a digital mixer make more sense? Help!!!!

Hey guys!! I'm looking to upgrade my project studios monitors, I am usings M - Audio Studiophile monitors, but the 6" woofer isn't getting the job done. Not enough bass response, or punch. I know I could get a subwoofer, but thats a plan for another day. I am looking for the best bang for...

Hey I'm a prog rock/metal kinda guy and want a decent amp modeler for my computer recording rig. I'm just looking for some opinions. My choices right now include the PODxt, the Vox amp modeler or the Native Instruments Guitar Rig. I play with distortion most of the time, but don't use a lot...
Hi. I just bought a M-Audio Keystation 49e, and I'm using Cakewalk Homestudio 2004 XL. My computer is a custom built one running an adm athlon 2000+ around 1.6ghz and running 786mbs or RAM. Thing is, when I play the keyboard using softsynth, It lags like hell, and I can't play in time at all...
Hi I have an M Audio audiophile in my PC that doesn't get the job quite done. This is mainly due to the fact that it doesn't have any MIDI synth in it. I use my PC to capture inspiration, and to do arrangements on songs. So the midi synth is essential for me. Any recomendations? I was...
hey wuts up all... im looking for a high gain boutique amp (tube, 100watts, 2 channels at least). I've had mesas before but its coming to the point where i feel blended in with every single other guitar player that has one, which is alot! also, the thing with mesa that i hate is the lack of...
alright I've been doing my research on amps and what not and seem to be veering away from mesa/boogie, and towards vht. After hearing one of the combos I was totally blown away. I can't wait to hear the heads.... thing I'm concerned about is the speakers the put into their speaker enclosures...
