i upgraded my vegas 1.0A to 4.0 - now my delta audiophile 2496 is recognized and showing on both playback and record meters.
i'm able to record a track through my mixer - but am getting a feedback loop from track 1 everytime i enable track 2 to record...

i'm not getting a record signal in vegas. can playback files just fine - but nothing on the input meters.
i'm using the delta audiophile 2496 - it's getting signal from my mixer - can see it in the m-audio control panel - but vegas isn't picking it...
my wife bought me this card yesterday to replace the audiophile 2496 i'd been having problems with...
but it looks like the SB is more suited for watching/listening to dvd's in 7.1 surround or booming video games than for the purpose of quality home recording.
