is there any quality difference bouncing between 1024 and 2048?

I mean the samples size you pick at the Playback Engine, when you are just about to bounce and everything is already recorded. http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/media/2013/08/Scarlett_PT_buffer.jpg

is there any quality difference bouncing between 1024 and 2048?

I´ve read a lot but I couldn´t get any satisfactory answer. Does it change the quality if I bounce a mix in 1024 and 2048? I´ve made some tests and I hear a slightly, really tiny difference when I bounce in 2048. Kind of clarity, punchier. But I´m afraid my ears are tricking me. Any thoughts...

Hi, folks. I´ve purchased a Saffire 56 but I´m having serious trouble trying to get signal through my headphones. I´ve watched many videos, I´ve been to the official Focusrite answerbase... and nothing. I came in here with a little last hope to see if I could find someone that...

    Some feedback on my singing?

You´ve got a pleasant tone. I would say to take some classes in order to brush up your breathing, using the diaphragma and the whole nine yards regarding the clear spelling and the reaching of the correct notes and all. Using a good gear to record would improve as well to notice little things...

    Tough vocal ACDC

It´s been kind of a year now that I try to get close to the voice of Brian Johnson (ACDC). :listeningmusic: He's got that grit (drive) and still achieves a peculiar and very high registers. Not an easy act, I admit. I use the mask technique most of the times, for not damaging to much my voice...

How to do manually mid-side mastering technique?

    Stereo: L + R *L = L+MID *R = R+MID therefore MID: (L + MID) + (R + MID) = 2MID+L+R therefore SIDE: (L + MID) + (-R + -MID (inverted polarity)) = L(+) + R(-) Does it check, folks?

How to do manually mid-side mastering technique?

Hi, actually I was not thinkinn to go that pro. It´s just an issue of getting an instrumental track in stereo and having to add vocals on it. I´ve heard with that techinique you can find a ´room´ for the voice, once the stereo track is taking control of the whole pan. In few words, it´s...

How to do manually mid-side mastering technique?

Geez, I´ve been looking all over but I cant find a decent method to do this technique manually without counting on plugins that do the whole deal. Does anyone master this art of duplicating track, splitting the stereo, inverting the phase and the whole crazy thing? thanx folks
