any Focusrite Saffire 56 owner? ( impossible to get signal through headphones)

Hi, folks.

I´ve purchased a Saffire 56 but I´m having serious trouble trying to get signal through my headphones.

I´ve watched many videos, I´ve been to the official Focusrite answerbase... and nothing.

I came in here with a little last hope to see if I could find someone that could suggest any setting for the Saffire Mix Control (last update), so I could exclude or not the possibility to have purchased a deffective unit.

Besides the headphone issue, everything is working 100%: inputs (ballanced and P-10), sound through speakers (Mix Control isolated and routed to Pro Tools 10)

I let here the image of my present Mix Control setting. I appreciate any help in advance

Hi there,


Firstly, go to Mix Control>File>Reset to Factory Defaults

Secondly, click routing presets>DAW Tracking

Thirdly, go over to the Matrix on the right hand side - You will want to ensure that outputs 1-6 are blue and 7-10 are grey (line level out - Shift+click to achieve this).

Be wary if you have anything connected to line outs 7-10 - Line outputs to monitors can damage them due to the level.
