Stuck between the 2 not sure what will be best. Its to be used to do vocals. Drawn towards the 2496 for its zero latency monitoring whereas on the 192 spec it says nothing about this. But im drawn towards the 192 because of its higher smapling rate. Can anyone make a reccomendation?? Thanks.

hi we are adding a compressor to our setup and have 2 questions. 1) When connecting the compressor do you connect the mic to the compressor then plug the compressor into the mic socket on the mixer? 2) If you connect the mixer up in the way i described above, will the condenser mic still...

At the moment we have an extremely simple setup. We record hip hop vocals over the beat and we use cool edit 2.0 witha sound blaster 5.1 sound card. Anyway we play the beat on cool edit when recording over it, however this creates a problem that coole dit records the beat "inside" the computer...

When i double up vocals i always seem to end up with a sort of robot sound. What should i be doing with the other recording?? MAke it really quiet or change the pitch?? At the moment i have it very quiet.

when we record we use backing tracks to record over, played through the headphones etc. But when we talk down the mic our voice doesnt come back through the headphones. Any ways to correct this??
