Can you use a tascam 388 to record and simultaneously listen to the repro heads I would love to integrate my 388 into my daw in this way. I understand there will be latency but I'm not looking to monitor off of the repro heads. Thanks, eric

My Tascam 388 started acting up yesterday. Play and fast forward work typically and rewind is going slow. Probably slower than 1 IPS. If I help the reels spin, it can keep up the speed but still won't go near the normal speed. I've cleaned the tape path and that doesn't seem to be the issue...
