I just bought a pair of KRK Rokit Powered 6 Monitors and was wondering what type of cables should I go with hooking them up to a mixer. Also are both balanced and unbalanced connections needed? Thanks.

I have an mxl 990 condensor mic, and don't have a pop filter. So I decided to put a windscreen over the mic, 'cause i heard without a pop filter it could damage a condensor mic. I was wonder will using a windscreen help prevent from damaging the mic? I'm getting a pop filter in two weeks, but...

I agree completely with you on the current Interface I'm using. Unfortunately it's too late for me to return it, so it looks like I'm stuck using it for a while till I can afford a better one. p.s can you suggest what kinda cables I'll need?

I have another question regarding to the mixer i recently ordered. On the mic inputs I was wondering if those are XLR 'cause i notice the shape is the same but it doesn't have the three holes like the XLR connector on the recording interface i use. Thanks in advance...

For some reason the bit depth on my m-audio fast track won't stay at 24 bits. I've tried several different things even updating the drivers, but when i reboot my computer is defaults to 16 bits.

I'm currently using the Fast Track usb to record, but for some reason i can't get it to record at 24-bit/48kHz, so instead im using 16-bit 44.1kHz. I've tried changing the settings from the sound properties to 24-bit but when doing so i get static sounds while recording. Also not i'm using Sonar...
