...yes, another thread. I'm going to be recording two 1-12 cabinets using one mic and i'm looking for a good mic to use. I want something very natural sounding.

I'm looking to record a bass cab with a 15 on the bottom and two tens above it. I need to limit it to one mic because of limited tracks. Any mic suggestions? I'm looking to get a good classic rock sound. Really warm and rumbling but with some punch.

Does anybody know what the WOW effect in media player actually does? My theory is that it pans frequencys in a certain way. I would like to recreate the effect when recording for certain things, but i have no clue how to go about this.
