apples and oranges, Songwriting is not musical ability. Some of the greatest songs ever written were three chords

You really shouldnt be involved in the conversation, you too are a moron. and can i hear your songs?

I see now you've moved on to taking shots at Dogbreath...and I'm sure you'll tell us that you are also a better songwriter than him too.

So far....you're just better than everyone else here.
My...it must be hard living with yourself and all that greatness.

Let us know when that album is ready...we're all on the edge of our seats.

Charts LiveFrequency Band

you'll find a couple there, I believe.

Riff Riff Riff, somebody might like it, I wont, but as suspected, you dont belong in a conversation about songwriting.

I could write something like that in 5 minutes, and im not joking, the riff is carrying it, thats how that style works, but it's not songwriting.

Your no Paul Simon

Dream on....

If I had your studio, id be making much better music than your stuff, im close in sound already, and I dont even have any recording gear, how do you miss with all that gear? it sounds dead, lifeless, boring, etc

I know more about the craft of songwriting than dogbreath does. No doubt about it

Oh...so now your gear is the crutch to your product.

:D

Dude, get over yourself.
You're telling everyone how much better you are.....but no one esle was on here saying they were better, we're just giving opinions on music.

The stuff you're doing is about as mediocre as can be...though obviously you think it's great, and just needs "better studio gear".
And not that I even need to try and compete with your sophomoric efforts....but I have newer stuff that will make your stuff sound just like the garage demos it really is.

And yes....I have a great studio, which seems to bother you, so now you go on the personal attack.

you should listen to "Bubble Baths"

it's awesome. It's about farting in the bathtub.
Classy stuff. :)

Do you know what CRAFT really means? Can't Remember A Fucking Thing. Waiting for the inevitable "where's your music" response.

Thanks to all for the giggles. This is great stuff. The stuff songs are written about lol

Nothing scares him off. He's like a Rat Terrier that's constantly nipping at your ankles. No matter how hard you kick him, he keeps coming back. The Craftsman is probably off working on his album.

Oh my... Is this crap still going on?

Maybe someone should start a poll as to whether we are enjoying this as a benefit to the site, or if it is counter-productive?...

I just can't believe it keeps on going... Someone must be enjoying what will be the top threads on this weeks newsletter...

He told us he's better than anyone here....so he must be famous.

I dont think it's great, it's one guitar and a vocal with some drum software, no effects, no studio, no mastering. The song is kind of a novelty, wrote it for a movie. I mean I wrote songs like yours when I first started writing, and I thought they were good.

The reason im bring this out is because you dont know that your lyric especially is not a good lyric, yet people like yourself keep arguing about craft. It has no character, no sense of life, nothing but some lame guy on a dance floor talking to a girl who looks at the floor instead of him. I mean i've seen that scene in every TV show that ever was, it's a tired idea and tired lyric.

Doesnt mean you don't have any talent, just means that before heading to your studio to record, write a better song. There are so many ways to say what you said.

What bothers me about you having a studio, is that you are getting some of the worst sounding recordings out of there, and I dont understand how, I know gear is only half the equation, but you should be able to at least get a cleaner sound than your getting.

As I said, you can work to improve, or just keep doing what you do. but with all that gear, it;s a terrible waste of money and time.

Are you still digging that ditch you came here to find out how to dig? Cause Im not digging you, I dont think anybody is
