Just out of curiosity, the original post mentions something about "heatmiser." Is that a user name on this forum or the name of an "unheard of" band yer gonna spin? If it's the latter, they're gonna hafta change their name: Heatmiser is already taken; it was Elliot Smith's band before he became known as a solo artist.

Just sayin'. :)
 
It's the username. Everyone, I'm getting so many songs, I won't be putting them until shows long down the line! :eek:

How long are we talking about here? Just finished the Red Book compliant master CD so my band's songs are ready.

Oh, and I talked to the station manager, and my show should play in 30 minutes! Heat's song is in.

Yay! I'm going to miss the anonymity of being able to go out in public and stuff now though...oh, the price of fame.

I know it's a small thing, but I'm really happy just to know that someone, somewhere will hear one of my songs over the radio, so thank you for that Crows.

Yes, good on Crows for trying to make us all famous! He's a good man and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.... :D

Ha! I'd never heard of that band until after I joined this site (still haven't bothered to listen to 'em).

I thought I had this great band name locked up and was so pissed to learn it was taken. I am a huge Rankin/Bass fan, but no so much Mr. Smith (sorry).

Are your shows going to be archived? If so, under what name? 10pm sucks for me, but would like to listen to everyone's tunes.

That'd be cool fritzy.. whatever time they're playing is going to be some weird time in Aus but it'd be nice to hear what you've put together...
