This was nice. I thought everything sounded good. I don't think I'd recommend changing the tone on anything.

I'd go with RAMI and say you could take the vocal down just a bit. But definitely not too much, the vocal should be the centerpiece of the song.

I have a banjo, ukulele, melodica, recorder & harmonica. All of which I can play, but pretty badly. :)

Wow....an interesting assortment there. I don't own any of those instruments myself.

So, you're definitely not heading in a bass/drums/electric guitars kind of standard arrangement thing then I guess? I can't really help with the acoustic/folk set up, but I'm confident you could do some pretty cool & unique compositions with just those instruments.

I guess I understand strings and wind the best. LOL...wind. I think it makes sense too, to try pad what I do out a bit with those instruments for now. I did a bit with the harmonica a while back so maybe I'll go back to those ideas and play around with them a bit more. I might become one of these one day:

Thanks heaps for the listen TripleM, appreciate it a lot. I have lowered the volume in the master but haven't uploaded it. It does sound a heap better.

You know, I generally despise acoustic girl music, and acoustic guy music, hell all acoustic music, but I like the way you do yours. This is two songs now that I've heard from you that are simple, short, and seemingly genuine and honest and I can really respect and appreciate that. Please don't go adding a bunch of shit and overthinking what you do. And don't lose that accent!

Sweet! You know, I really don't mind hearing about all the stuff that I need to improve on, I know I've got a long way to go. But I think I would throw in the towel straight away if someone said my style was fake, or anything like those folking guitar chicks. That comment improved my otherwise very mediocre Monday by approximately 20%, so cheers for that. The accent will be back. :D

Finish it please.
The lyric are excellent - verging on nihlistic at the end but excellent nonetheless.

I'm a bit in-between at the moment so maybe now's a good time to go back to this before I forget about it. Thanks for the kick up the bum!
