Nice. That's much better than a cardboard box, hole in the ground, or van down by the river.

Glad you're here. I was going to pick your brains on a serious matter. Keep an eye open for the pickup phase of the build thread. I want to get some bits together to wind them next week. I'll bump the thread later...

Nice. I love the double-cut LP Jr.
Thanks! That's the first one I built from scratch.

Now you might think it's weird for a guy to spend 5 to 10 hours a day practicing Lamaze, but the breathing and "pushing" exercises really help for pushing farts explosively out of your rectum.
If you have to push, it might not be a fart.

But keep that under your hat.
I think his hat is MIA

They look good but do they sound OK?
Ann sez the tone is better if you add cocoa to the beans.

One last thing. How many farts can I expect to get from one tin without shitting my pants?
There are no guarantees. Bring extra pants, brown ones.

JCH, you got the coolest home studio I ever saw.
Nice... I love that Movie^^

Coincidentally, I'm winding pickups for current projects this weekend. I need to update my highly convoluted, never ending build thread. Things have moved along some.

I hope to put up some pics in about an hour or so when I'm finished here. Got the fingerboard on and some frets in today. Next is finishing and winding pickups. I wouldn't mind a recap on your recipe and maybe some adaptation to fit parts I may already have..:o

This thread needs some music.
I like to wear headphones and listen while I read.

It's my favorite room in the house, but I'm sure there are many here who have more invested in one mic than I have in all of my gear combined. It's just a hobby for me.
MY g/f made the curtains, and picked out the rug.

Great toonz! Anyone who never had the chance to see Entwistle perform missed out. There will NEVER be another like him.

one and only

I play a Fender Tele Deluxe RI through a '67 Fender Super Reverb. I used to have a '65 Tele but it had been heavily modded before I got it in the '70s and I sold it a few years back. Cords, I have a Monster for playing live strictly for durability but otherwise have been using some brandGC carries whose name I can't recall. I use Clayton picks, which I love, the Acetal 1.52 and Ultem 1.2, I do switch to some thinner ones occasionally but I like the control of a thick pick and these Claytons have a matte finish that is very comfortable and they don't slip. I sometimes mic my amp with a typical 2-mic config, but for the last several years have been going direct more and more. I use Guitar Rig and find the models and effects to be very true and honestly more options than I could ever hope to use. I also like the added bonus of built in tape decks for experiments and practice, importing mp3 to learn new stuff at half speed if needed, etc. I had a Gretsch and an Ibanez for a while but I'm down to my main rig now. Can't say I miss them. I also have an Ibanez Bass that I love, an SD-GR, and a crappy acoustic. I would like to get a Gibson or Guild acoustic sometime, that would be nice. I play everything from country rock to mild to metal and experimental, at least in my mind, I can't keep up with genres anymore.

Thats cool but can you describe the room you keep that stuff in?

Sure, it's my ass, I just eat some fresh cooked beans and fart when I want to play. When I'm done, back in it goes. That way, I don't NEED a door.

I have a Schecter Hellraiser and a Schecter Gryphon, but I'm getting a PRS in a couple days. I'd love to record my Mesa Boogie amp with my SM57, but I cannot get a good sound from recording it, so I record directly into Garageband with Podfarm software and I get some pretty good sounds imo
