I'm planing on buy a new mic under a budget.
I have a few choices but can't decide between any of these if you have any suggestions for other good cheap mics

For $250 you could also have a Michael Joly MXL 603.

seeing as the OP has looked at LDC's, i'm just gonna add some more of them;

sE X1 and sE2200a
Gauge ECM-87
Avantone CK6

tbf, the three you've already looked at they'd all work fine so it'd help everyone if you gave us some more details; what are you planning to record? Have you any particular kind of sound you're looking for, i.e bright, clear, warm, dark etc

AROD, what are you recording? Any info about the rest of your system....

I'm planning on recording in between pop and acoustic music.
-Vocals
-Acoustic instruments
And looking for a warm sound.

I'm planing on buying a

Interface:
Presonus audiobox 2x2 or an AkaiPro EIEpro

My guitar is not that bright nor bassy is king of in the middle
Vocalist:Soprano but not that high

DAW: Cubase 6 elements (in the meantime cause Protools is very expensive)
And in the future planing on a cajon.

What is the room/environment like, that you will be recording in? This could change what it is you want to purchase.

Oh yeah, and if you want some studio "improvements" and a free Rode NT1A ( With stand and pop filter and foam blocking out background noises ), check this video out.

Cheers,
Darren.

That was a Rode NT2a!

Hey I sent KC one of those Rode T-shirts for his birthday. They look cool.

Always with the right ? at the right time jimmy lol get out of my head lol

AROD, good to go with the Rode NT1-A, good on the akai, not so good on the PreSonus interface why not get a Focusrite Saffire PRO 14$249 its alot better interface or you can go even better with an Apogee one its less money ($150) with GREAT! Quality and an internal mic as well. MOTU makes solid interfaces as well.

Marshall MXL 990 into a Studio Projects VTB-1. Works on everything. If you find the right deal you can get both for under $250 combined.
