I'm looking for 1/4" 2-track reel to reel as a mixdown deck. I'd prefer something like a: Tascam BR20, Tascam 42, Revox PR99, or Otari MX5050, but I am flexible as along as it can record at 15ips and its in good condition. I'm located in southwest Virginia and I'm willing to drive a ways to pick it up or pay to have it shipped properly.

Thanks!

Are you still lookig for a R to R? I have a sony snd on snd refurbished.

I have a model A-8 (8 trk recorder/reproducer) that records @ 15ips for sale.Good condition with owner's manual.I thought I would use it,but never really got into it.It is a 1/4' four track machine.Price? Don't know the value.We can discuss it.352-598-2890.

Actually the A-8 (I have one) is a 1/4' 2TK are "Half TK" as we call them, when you only record them on one side of the tape. Man this little thing sounds way better than I thought it would, as I was raised on Teac/Tascam machines. Only settback is that it only handles small reels which is ok anyways. I bought mine off of e-bay a few yrs. back and its been in storage and I just did a stereo mix to it from a CD im familiar with and WOW it really shines!!:thumbs up:

Oh yeah and I forgot to say that I just learned that you can do over dubs on this machine are stricly use it for echo easily at either 7 1/2 or 15IPS !!!

I have 1 Otari MX5050B111 with roll cart and 1 Otari MTR-10 I've decided to sell my gear and get out of the bizz. Message me for pics and prices.
