I'm looking for a backup for my G&L ASAT, and have been stuck on a Schecter Stargazer, Fender Thinline 72, and a Fender Jazzmaster. I guess aesthetically, I really like the Thinline for some odd reason, but I am also intrigued by the Jazzmaster and Stargazer. The store I went to doesn't have much of a selection but I played on a Squier Thinline and it felt and sounded nice as does the Jazzmaster. I haven't had a chance to try the Stargazer though, but my friend has the bass version of it and likes it.
Budget wise, I am looking to spend less than $1000. I would like something versatile but mostly play alternative rock, ambient, or indie-ish stuff. Any input would be appreciated!
