Why are there so many rapers in this forum?

I guess this thread will get off topic and no one will ever discuss the fact that so many hip hop artists use this forum when their recordings are really simple and probably they will just be around for a week

Why would anyone want to discuss how many hip-hop artists there are here??? There are a lot of metal players, and blues players, and and rock players, too. Should we start a discussion on all that too???

Don't be a hypocrite. If you hate rappers so much, just say so. Don't start a thread that doesn't accomplish anything other than make you look bitter with a chip on his shoulder.

"rapers" have questions about recording too. Why does that bother you so much????

Says the guy with the Jan 2012 registration date. STFU n00b.

This place is relatively very rap lite. Not many "rappers" in here compared to other genres. There are quite a few rapers though, and lots of Reapers.

Try mixing or composing any sort of hip hop arrangement and you will realize how much of a fucking moron you are. You sound like a pissed off youth with nothing of substance to say so I'm suggesting you shut the fuck up. :spank:

wallystripes has quickly outed himself as an obvious troll, or a totally clueless n00b. He got all kinds of butthurt and mad at me for asking the price of something in US dollars as opposed to canadian. Oh the horror!

It's down in the guitar section "why are tube amps so expensive" thread. He's either totally retarded or he trolled me pretty good. Lol.

Why are there so many ex-hippie folk artists on this forum? Usually they just record an acoustic guitar, vocals, and bongos. Why, they don't even have to deal with complex things like sequencers, midi modules, samplers, drum machines and all that other difficult stuff. Why don't they just go and get baked? Now I'm not dissing those old stoners. Some of them are pretty good guitarists.-Richie

Why are there so many men on this forum? It's like a sausage fest in here. We need more boobies and vajayjays.

It's a public forum and rappers are just as welcome here as anyone else.Even if they just record vocals there's still micing and recording techniques that can be learned.Believe it or not there may be some rappers who can actually sing and play instruments very well.

I know, I said that right at the beggining.

its not just that, for me, i want to go more in depths with producing, mixing vocals with plenty of juicy effects, and getting the background of what the proper techniques are for when you are recording in a professional studio, even though its at my home studio, its something to get me started in my career of hip hop. none the less you shouldn't judge.

Wait... this is a serious thread?

Between "rapers" and "hatters" I just assumed it was a callback to the last thread about hip hop artists being unable to spell (I'm not going to bother linking it. It's all the same jokes.)

Oh, except no one's said "hatters gonna hat" yet. There. Now we've covered all the jokes.

What about all the rockers using ezdrumer and guitar rig? They don't have to deal with rooms and mics.

Don't hide behind the guise of curiosity. Just be honest and admit you don't think rapper are legit musicians worthy of being on this exclusive site.

I'm a rapper, and record vocals, but I also play guitar, bass, n drums as well, eventually when I decide to incorporate live instruments, this forum will become VERY helpful, and its helped me a lot already. Every genre has its own characteristics and different way to do things, and we all belong here and should be helping each other rather than knocking each other. I would LOVE to incorporate live instruments in my recordings and even live performances like the roots.

and that's the whole issue right there.

Some people don't accept it as a legitimate form of music.

personally I don't like rap or hip-hop but for me the bigger issue is that horrible huge round sounding kick sample they all seem to use!
:D Seriously ...... I hate that thing.

But not everyone is gonna like all music ............ the fact that I or anyone else doesn't like it doesn't mean it's not legitimate.
