I'm a bit perplexed; and I've been reading the manual to make sure I'm not going crazy...
I have temporarily connected a small Mackie mixer to the STEREO BUSS IN on the rear of the 388. The Mackie is being used as a submixer for my keyboards. I was hoping I would be able to route that stereo input to 2 channels, panned L and R (or a single channel if it were possible). If this is doable, I cannot figure it out. In other words, can i record the stereo buss inputs?
I'm doing this mainly as a test because I will likely be sending a sub-mix of drum tracks to the 388 in the future. I know that logically I could just connect the L and R stereo outs from the submixer into 2 channels pannel L/R on the 388 and just do it that way, but I'm thinking ahead to a more permanent solution to my wiring once I get my control room finished.
