The Steinberg forum is setup to be a concise forum, designed so that only legal owners of specific software are allowed to enter. In other words, I cannot post in the Nuendo forum without having license for the product. This makes the forum more specific for ones particular issues. The only way for this to be possible, is for them to associate your registered license via elicenser, to access of each forum. It may seem like a bunch of steps to take to get there, but it makes sense. You have to register at mysteinberg.net anyway. Just click on the 'Forum' tab after registering and create your profile. Done. Now you don't have to weed through a thousand questions about Wavelab, Nuendo, or new users of LE that have nothing to do with the software you are using. I had problems at first getting my head wrapped around the whole licensing procedure as well. Now, it just makes sense.
