Q: Why does a sound tech say "Test, 1,2" into a microphone?

A: Because he's afraid if he says "3" he might have to lift something.
 
Whenever I test a mic out on stage, I always go "1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 2, 3, 4, 5" for some strange reason.


Those numbers are probably the secret to the universe!
 
back in my soundguy days a vocalist in a pretty regular band used to say 'chest 1,2' between songs while pointing at some chick at the front of the audience. funny guy.

The answer to the meaning of: "Life the Universe and Everything".

But by the time they got the answer they forgot what the question was.
 
I'm pretty sure the question was "what is 6 x 7 ?" but I may be wrong.

No. It's just some weird time signature you have going on inside your head. :D

1, 2, 3, and kick 5, 7, 9, and kick 2, 3, 4, and kick 5 .................
