Hey everyone,
basically I've been searching for a while now for something for band to record, I posted an earlier thread but thought it would be better to start a fresh one.
simply I just want to get a simple recording of our band, to make 'demo' quality stuff. If we want better I figure we can just fork out the cash for a pro job.
so I was pointed in the direction of interfaces but honestly I feel more comfortable behind a mixer because it's what I've used previously.
So i've been looking at usb mixers( i figure I can use it for basic recording and live so a win there)
I think my most important part though is being able to record at 6-8 tracks simultaneously on my macbook pro.( with whatever software the device comes with)
so basically I'll link three here to see if anyone could figure it out, or already knows from previous experience if any of these will perform to my standards albeit rather low.

(any other recommendations?)
Or maybe an interface isn't as intimidating as it seems, it's just I like to be able to listen and control all my sound physically rather than with a mouse. but maybe I'm way off on this.
many thanks in advance.
