I'm still working on this one, suggestions would help. I know there are some lip syncing issues, but the kids were running around while taping and I was distracted. :D So, it is what it is in that regard. Too much work to go back and reshoot.

That was real good dude. That's how people should make videos for their music. An actual video with a theme that wasn't just clips of you in a studio or random stock footage. Well done.

Wow, fantastic. I wouldn't worry about the lip sync issues at all. If I saw that on TV I dont think it would even occur to me that it's an amatuer video.

I think he was referring to the last video I posted which was me in the studio (one angle) and random stock footage. :o Doh :eek:

Lol. Sorry, I didn't notice your video. :o

I wasn't talking about Chili's other video either. Just youtube vids in general. They all seem to be mostly the same thing. Random stock footage and "studio" clips. I have no idea how to make one myself, and I don't think I would even if I could. I'm just saying something that goes with the song is better than random stuff.
 
excellent chilli...nice quality and a nice idea...not sure what you would add to it without it turning out to be some lavish production, just nice and effective in its simplicity as is...one thing though, the fat old guy you cast at the end wasnt the best choice... but I take it you went for a local character for some humour? he just looked a little dodgy thats all

Dude.... Very, very nicely done. Loved the storyline.... and loved the kids. The voice-over sync was perfect, as far as I could tell.

Great job, man. Borderline pro-grade as far as I'm concerned.
 
Really really well done. More importantly to me, since I couldn't give a shit about videos, is that the song and the recording of the song are really good. I wouldn't think this was an "amateur" song or video if I came across it. I'm really impressed, The Chilster.
 
Hey all, thanks for the kind words. Everytime I look at it, I see all the little flubs I want to fix... and I will get most of them. Still needs some tweaks here and there.

You know, I wanted to fire that fat old guy, but he was the director and the producer, too. Oh, and he also provided the catering and the wine... so, you know, good to have around.

Get your camera and get going. I'm sure you can do some awesome stuff with your tunes and a camera. It would be quite interesting.

That's damned good Chili. I could tell it had a real story to it. I like how it had the grey parts with the boy and girl, (as if they met very young) and then they have walked through life together to become the older (but still very young looking, don't get me wrong) couple with children. It is touching and goes with the song very well.

Thank PI. Yeah, the kids were great. Very little coaching, they just knew what to do. The hat falling off all the time was an unexpected plus.

Hey Trump, yup, that's what I was going for, glad the message came across. That was how I saw it when I wrote the song years ago. And thanks for the off-handed compliment, we certainly aren't young anymore, close to pushing 50!! Yikes :eek: :eek:
