Hey guys/gals, please bare with me. This is my first post, but I've been using the search function A LOT!
My plan: Use a POD 2.0 to record guitar onto my computer.
From what I gather, plugging the pod into the "mic in" with the factory soundcard produces mediocre results.
I have an EMU 0404 http://www.emu.com/products/product.asp?product=10447 at my disposal (my sister's ex bought it for her to record vocals, but she never got around to it). Can this help me with hooking the pod up to my computer, as far as sound quality goes?
I'll be recording mainly rock type music (not really any clean tones).
I know these issues are newb-ish, but any help will be appreciated. I'm not really familiar with the capabilities of the emu, so any hints or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
