Nature of Force
WOW! I was just messing around in Sonar 7 HSXL and I was amazed at what sounds you could achieve with software.
How I recorded everything:
Guitars: I plugged my Peavey HP EXP Guitar into my Behringer Xenyx 1202 Mixing Board. After I recorded the guitar part, I used Peavey Revalver to get the sound I wanted. After I got that, I cloned the track, tweaked some of the settings on the clone, moved the clone slightly to the right and panned both hard. (I know it's cheating, but it's the bare minimum!)
Bass: Studio Instruments Bass> Agressive Pick
Drums: Studio Instruments Drums> Room Kit
No added effects or EQ! I only adjusted pan and volume.
First it plays the whole mix, then the guitar, then the bass, and lastly the drums.
