MPA Gold Tube replacement suggestions

Hey, I've got an ART MPA Gold coming in the mail. I've heard suggestions to change out the stock tubes for a much better sound. What are 2 different tubes I can get for 50 bucks total (less preferably) that have noticeably better quality than those stock tubes? Am I going too cheap?

I got two mullard mu-12ax7. They do pretty good. They break up better are much warmer when pushed than the stock tubes. Total of $45.85 matched and balanced triods, including shipping. I got mine from the tube depot. They are cheapys but, they are better than the stock tubes for sure.

Almost anything you switch to will be better than the stock tubes. +1 for the mullards. Try the cryogenic treated ones. Amperex is another good choice. But again, anything will be an improvement over the stock tubes. You'll be impressed with this unit.
