Hey Fellas,

I have this bottle of rubber conditioner I've been using for a while, but I swear it's sooo toxic, I can only use it (pinch rollers, belts) when bringing my gear outside to clean it. I once used it in the house and the house smelled of it for a few days (honestly). I had a massive headache for hours too!!
Can anyone suggest a good brand of rubber conditioner and tell me where I can order it? Thanks,
Aaron

CaiKleen RBR (Low VOC and Low Odor Formula)

I had the same problem with MG Chemicals rubber cleaner. I'm currently using this: http://store.caig.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.179/.f

It's their low odor / low toxicity formula. It isn't as severe on the rubber and doesn't dry as fast as the other product but it does its job well. It's probably closer to the original TEAC formula than anything else. Make sure to follow the instructions on the bottle as, again, it works a bit different to the other harsh rubber cleaners outthere.

Thanks Cjacek!

I'm going to order some! I Thank you!, My Girlfriend Thanks you!, and My Tape Machines Thank you!!!!!!!!!!:D

Oh, yeah..........

It took a while............ but my dogs thanked you too. :D Cheers!

$54.00??? WOW! I understand that vintage Texas sells analog cleaning products.

Hahahaha!

"Assembly Line"!!! Hahahahahaha! That's funny, Man!:D

I just ordered some! $25 min order though. The midsize bottle costs $24.95,
If you plan on buying that size (even though it's 5 cents off) you'll have to buy something else too. Pretty silly to me! I just ended up buying "The Industrial Size" (it's the best value overall for the price) so I can start my Assembly Line!

A way to avoid the "$25 minimum order" ...

aa: I was going to suggest you look for a distributor / retailer in your area (click on the distributor tab) and perhaps get what you need that way. Surely there must be a place in Orlando?

Hi Folks, This new info is greatly appreciated even though I haven't yet 'dug out' my 688 from storage. I did know this guy who recycled trojans using some sort of stuff that he said smelled like roses. Maybe I'll ck into that & let you know ?
Ciao
PS who's from Orlando ? I'm in Hollywod, Fl-just down the pike "a piece."
