LED ZEPPELIN - SRTS disc two question

I was watching the remastered THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME DVD... specifically, disc two... and was taken aback by the music on the disc's menu. It seems like a jam of some kind towards the end of one of their songs. I found it... literally ... mesmerizing! Only problem is I can't identify the song. Does anybody out there know what song they are jamming on? It has a hell of a groove on it!!!!! Thanks for any help.

If you look at your CD player while the song is playing, it should display a track number which could be a big help in identifying the song.

Its been a while since I popped in that dvd, but I believe its a bit of a jam cut out of Whole Lotta Love, or at least it sounds like it.

Thanks for replying. I was thinking it was either the end of WHOLE LOTTA LOVE, or the end of HEARTBREAKER... where they just take off. I think you may be right about WHOLE LOTTA LOVE, now that I think about it. I think I hear some of the chords from WHOLE LOTTA LOVE coming from Page, but man, it sounds so DIFFERENT from the song. They are jamming, and it is infectious. I love the way it almost sounds funky... and it is very exciting to listen to. I would love have a recorded version of that to blast in my car speakers.

That's what I was trying to figure out. As discussed right above, I had a feeling it was the tail end of WHOLE LOTTA LOVE, but not as it appears in the film (I watched parts over trying to find it), and it's not on the footage in disc two. For all intents and purposes, this jam seems to only be on the background menu of disc two of the new version of SONG REMAINS THE SAME.

I would love to have an audio copy of this!!!!

I was going through the DVD collection the other day sticking them all in thinner cases to create room and I found TSRTS and was surprised to find that there was a second disc, which I hadn't noticed before.

I'll have a watch sometime soon and let you know if I work anything out...

No, it's not off of that, although that dvd is a must have for Zeppelin fans. TSRTS was recorded over a few nights, I'd guess that is from one of the sets not used on the disc. Page went crazy using unused footage for the menus on the other dvd.
