In a session I'm working on I have one track where the solo button is grayed out. This is not a problem...I can still solo this track but because it's gray it stays on when soloing other tracks. I have to mute that track in order to solo others. Is this just a corrupted track or is there an easier fix?

Thanks

No, this is actually a feature of Pro Tools, it allows you to solo-safe a track. Control-click or apple-click on the track (I believe it's those commands...) and the track will switch between solo-safe and not.

I use solo-safe on effects quite a lot - so that if I solo my drum tracks, I can still here the 'verb without have to scroll down to the bottom where I keep all my reverbs...

MD...
Thanks that worked but I'll be damned if I didn't think that I had already tried Control/click...guess not.

Thanks again
