This'll be fun.. Country, Dead, Blues here..
ES355 (not the 'stereo Vai-tone, but the pickups swapped to split-coils, then wired them trs -each to it's own channel' -I don't bother with the 'stereo much anymore but the single coil mix' thing is a gas!
Oh, and that damned gold whammy bar's out of there, along with a good solid stock tail piece.
Pearce G2R -sweeeet cleans..

Ah, and i just got a capo for Christmas. I got 'Jerry down, now i can work up some more of those 'Keith rhythm tones.

i got a fender tele. white with a black pickguard.
marshall mg100hdfx with a 412 cab. not the MG 412, but its the next step up which surprisingly makes alot of difference. i like it.
i also have a marshall mg250dfx
for gigs i run my guitar through both amps to get a stereo sound.
i used a digitech rpx400 for this. but i just put it on bypass...i only use that pedal for the tuner and for the two outputs. i wish i could sell it and get a Boss tuner...
hey , hows that big muff sound? ive heard it and it really reminds me of like a garage rock sound like MC5. I heard Jack White uses that too. I'm considering getting one.

After years of having one or two guitars and a little amp, I've put together a small, but mighty setup (for me at least) over the last year-- any/all of which might be used for gigging (depending where):
2005 Gibson SG Standard w/ Fralin PAF's, USA 1994 Hamer Studio Archtop w/ Barden HB's or 1993 USA G&L Legacy through a Buddha Bud Wah and a Z.Vex Box of Rock into either a Randall RM50 or RM20 with any of the following modules-- Pete-modded SL+, Dave Friedman modded SL+, Brahma or Blackface. Sometimes I use a Line 6 Echo Park in the effects loop.
I have a few other guitars-- a Hello Kitty Frankentelestrat-- Squier Protone Tele neck + Hello Kitty body w/ EMG 85 & 18V mod, Michael Kelly Tribal Sun Hourglass w/ Seymour Duncan P-Rails and an awesome MIJ Edwards Limited Les Paul copy that I just got and which will soon have Bare Knuckle Mules installed

Bruno Royal Artist into Ibanez Renometre (when it's working) into Marshall Superbass MkII (through a Tube Cube attenuator for late night use) into an Etone 200w box.
Simple but then so am I.
I do have some pedals (the nicest being a Morrison Big Fluff) and multi FX as required but I don't use any as a rule.

Many find that POD gear works best with PA and Keyboard type amps rather than standard guitar amps. The monitor is used for exactly that, for me, with XTL going direct to mains for outbound.

I try to keep it simple, Ibanez AR300 guitar> Dunlop wah> Fender Twin. I can't see hauling more than I really need.

ibanez pro line v with a dimarzio x2n for the rear humbucker,stock blade bridge pickup.ibanez roadster 2,digitech gnx2 into a crate head.an old ampeg 4x12 & an old peavey 4x12.i miss my hughes & kettner 2x12 attax 200 that was unfortunately stolen a few years back.

It's an original Matchless company amp that I bought new in 1991 from a friend that owns a guitar shop - so it cost me considerably less than they are going for now. Even has the original unlimited warranty that is now, of course, worthless.

My recording set-up changes depending on the project (I have several guitars, amps and processors).
My gig set-up is very basic - but functional:
Guitars: Fender Tele & Gibson SG
Effects: Boss ME50
Amp: Vox AD30VT
If my amp died I could run the effects into the board and if my effects died, the Vox have several built in effects - so I can get thru a gig.
The Boss ME50 has an acoustic simulation (not too good - no acoustic simulations are very good) which allows my to get a half ass acoustic sound when needed.
I'm not the primary guitarist (I'm a utility guy mostly on keys and 2nd guitar on those tunes that need it) ..........so, I do have to be a mega tone fanatic - I just need to cover the parts.
