Hi

I've recently installed cool edit pro 2 onto my lap which is a hewlett packard but when i try and record from myspace, the sound is not identical to myspace. It is jumpy and tinny - what would the problem be and how can i resolve it.??

Thanks

what he is sayin is he is recording what he hears into cool edit stealing songs that are not for download....i know how to fix your problem but i'm not going to tell you.....there is a reason they are not for dowload =]

eh, let him have it. myspace music sounds little better than ooshy shit. he will never be able to resell it or whatever to anyone that matters.

is he joking?

i mean has someone just created this profile for a joke?

buy the music, don't f-in steal it, and if you steal it at least get a decent quality download ffs.

Actually, there's a lot of unreleased and mixtape material that you can't get your hands on (if you like rap). I don't look at it the same as file sharing and P2P.

yuh but he could record higher quality of stuff same way he can get it off myspace......

i know what you're talking about, where the artists won't let you download their songs and you can't find them on limewire...somehow you can directly record the streaming audio and it comes out reasonable, but i've never bothered with it.

There's a few ways to do it...

Orbit will help you download the song you want... Just Google Orbit Myspace...

There's a more complicated way on how to do it but I'm not getting into it...

Steal away my friend... One day musicians will get there heads out of their asses and figure out there's more ways to make money from music then trying to sell a stupid sound file... I wonder how much Sony actually gives me per album (that's rhetorical sarcasm)

Make sure you are recording at 44.1k and 24bit. Thats the only thing that really would make it less quality then it already is. btw myspace quality is arleady shit soy our not getting really good quality music.

I agree its not really stealing its already on there to listen to and all you want to do is be able to listen to it without the internet. Id make the arguement that its not stealing but I guess you cna argue both sides.

Plus people putt ing stuff up on mys[pace kn ow that its stealable its just do you really wnat to steal the song with shit quality? or would you rather buy it and get full quality. Its the trade off I think.

i've recorded songs off myspace onto tape. the lack of quality isn't as noticeable that way.

have you tried sending a message to the people that uploaded the tracks? i've had a couple bands send me their whole album just for being interested in it.
