yes
basically, heres the deal. i ordered a jazzmaster from warmoth, it wont be here for a couple months. but i have all of the electronics, so i'd like to wire it before hand.

i bought this:

http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electro.../Wiring_Kit,_2-pickup_with_Toggle_Switch.html

and i'm using the seymour duncan hot rodded humbucker set. (JB and jazz i think)

the wiring diagrams for both are useless, as they arent colored so i have no idea what i'm doing.

and one more thing

whats the deal with grounding to the bridge? does is have to be done before its installed? (i dont have it yet either) if so, where do i connect the wire, and do i run the wire up through the string through holes? (its a strat flatmount hardtail)

it sounds like alot of mumbling.

i appreciate it alot.

thanks.

Try the Seymour Duncan site, theres a diagram for 2 humbuckers with 1 volume, 1 tone, and a 3 way switch that looks like what you are needing.

The Seymour Duncan Website is where to go for most wiring diagrams. And yes, they are in color.

The ground wire to the bridge has to be there, but you can do it at any time. Just solder the wire to any ground point.

The ground wire can be soldered anywhere as long as it is connected to a point that makes positive contatc with the strings. As far as the cap goes , Never got a cap with any of my pickups.

However it may be to replace the one one your tone pot , that would be my guess.

Rock On

well, both pots are the same. the wiring diagram from stew mac has it, in there but the one from SD doesnt.

There is a .047 wired from the middle pin on the tone pot to ground on the Seymour Duncan schematic..

nah, i get it now. i didnt see the capacitor before on the SD one. i'm pretty good at soldering though.
