So.. whats the deal with your monitors? I can appreciate having more than one set to check mixes but you are covering your soffit mounted KRKs and it doesn't look like you could easily use them. Are you finding yourself liking the new set better?

I have them up for sale. I really wanted to have two sets for reference, but I never used the NS10's, so I sold them and some mics to get the Focals. They are just too big to really have second set.

I talked with Barefoot over at GS, and I think soffit mounting made the KRK's overly bright - they are already a tad on the bright side. I thought it was all due to me not being used to the new room, then I thought it was all due to the KRK's, now I think it was the soffit mounting. They weren't massive problems, but I am trying to get things as flat as possible. The Focals are amazing though. They allowed me to hear far more subtle differences.

Update pics. i still have to install the lights and switch, rip the pine trim pieces that are vertical, stain the pine, and paint all the white trim......

You're selling the V8's? How much and do you still have them?
