i was just listening to your songs on your sound click page i forgot you covered this and that you posted a link on one of my threads before but i never listened to it back then, sorry 
man i hear this song being played to death (among other lizzy and skynyrd covers) at biker rallies and bars all the time and 99% of the time its totally butchered with bad playing but no band i hear cover it even if they are playing it perfect can do a decent job on the vox... untill now... great cover man you really caught the spirit of phil on this and for that you deserve a few pints of guinness, (thats an irish few meaning you dont stop untill you drop

the only thing i tought that was missing was the way brian downey played the hi hats he doubles up on the rhythm i dont know what the timing is called but im sure you know what im talking about, its a small nit pick but i guess that is how you were making it your own
that was just in the playing the rest of the drums, bass, guitars, vox were spot on, the recording sounds fucking amazing

Wow man, thanks a lot. I kinda forgot that I did this song too.
Yeah the drums are just what they are. I didn't really sweat trying to get them exact beat-for-beat. Close was good enough for me. I really spent more time trying to dial in a good guitar tone and getting the vocals respectable. I'm glad you like it.
