Hey Gorty, I did a blind listening test with my BR. I recorded a commercial cassette onto it, then played the original cassette deck back at the same time as the BR. I mixed up the cables so I wouldn’t have any idea which I was listening to. I thought one of the sources sounded slightly better. More definition and a bit more punch, so I decided that must be the original cassette playing. WRONG!!! I think the BR actually sounded slightly better than the original. Amazing. So once again I’ve proven to myself that all the arguing about 16/44 versus the higher bit and sample rate is a waste of time. Tape too. People must convince themselves that one sounds better than the other just for the sake of argument.
Maybe if you saw me naked you would change your mind. This doesn't mean that I like you or anything like that!![]()
Gorty, did you edit it or add some effects or EQ in some program? The little brother of the BR1600CDR. If the 600 is as great as the 1600 albeit a few less features then it will be a great addition. They are a great family of machines. The tune in my signature "Hyperactive Wah Wah" was recorded fully using the BOSS1600, all guitars and bass were recorded using the guitar effects by plugging straight in and the drums were just some patterns on the unit.
Even though I am very mad at you Starzz,I hope you have fun with your new BOSS BR600.

Yes, they are there. My guitar recordings just don't sound as good as yours. They sound okay when I'm doing them and listening through phones, but when I play them back on my stereo they sound like they're coming out of a cracker box.I edited and EQ'd all on the BR1600. I also used the Mastering Program that is on the BR1600CDR. I don't know if you have the Mastering Tools onboard the BR600?

I like addicted2u. Reminds me of a song from the past but can't remember what...? Me thinks I'll do a song similar to it.i moved from the 880 to an akai dps16 which was cooler
i still couldnt keep time
i bought an outboard sampler and started sequencing
the difference can be heard here:
http://www.nowhereradio.com/rollingdbs/singles
mosquito was partially sampled and sequenced
was me playing everything myself. and singing of course.
if you go there and it wants you to pick a player just pick the first option it gives you.
its the site everybody here used to use before there was a soundclick
